to be an illusionist takes a lot of precision and accuracy. well, in anime despite their few numbers they are much needed in battles. illusionists have proved that not all of what you see are true; their abilities entail manipulating reality or controlling a person's state of mind to see what is not actually there.

Enmu holds the rank of lower rank one. he is an extremely sadistic character that enjoys making humans suffer. he usually does so by giving them sweet dreams and slowly turning them into a nightmare. he is an illusionist in the sense that he can put people into a dream state where he then uses their memories against them and can even kill them in their sleep.

From the anime series 'Katekyo hitman reborn' emerges an Arcobaleno, viper is the holder of the indigo arcobaleno pacifier, also known as esper mammon, he is the best spell caster and illusionist of the varia. viper is a first-class psychic able to perform feats such as telepathy and flight with his mind, with this same ability he can also create illusions powered by his psychic ability.

white snake is a stand belonging to Pucci. Whitesnake can produce an acid that slowly digests objects like stomach acid. It is first shown to constantly exude this acid and even take a partially molten form to hide, though this is only used once. While dissolving, targets of this attack are distracted in a delusional dream state. A person trapped in the dream may wake up from it by noticing discrepancies between the dream and established reality. The melting portion of the ability requires a significant amount of time to use effectively, reflected in the "D" in its speed parameter.

This guy is a powerful illusionist and a wanted criminal sought for his crimes against the estraneo famiglia. He is the primary antagonist during the events of the kokuyo arc. He is eventually chosen as the tenth generation mist guardian of the vongola famiglia. While in Vindice prison, he communicates with the kokuyo junior high gang and the outside world through his vessel, chrome dokuro, until he is released. he is by far the strongest illusionist mention in the entire series. not only can he create illusions he can summon animals and withstand other illusions as well, his cunning nature makes him incredibly deadly with his six paths of regeneration.

Itachi is what one would refer to as a child prodigy, he is incredibly skilled in both ninjutsu and genjutsu. Itachi awakened the mangekyo Sharingan after the suicide of his best friend shisui Uchiha, this mangekyo Sharingan allows him to trap his opponent in an illusionary world, altering their perception of time to make seconds of torture seem like days. being a prodigy and a master in genjutsu there is almost no one who can dispel his genjutsu attack...afterall Kakashi fell for it.

Aizen is a major antagonist in the anime series bleach. the entirety of his ability is to create illusion. Aizen's zanpakuto is named "Kyoka Suigetsu," and its Shikai ability is complete hypnosis.
