Mureum was featured in the hunter x hunter series, he was born of a species called chimera ants that is; ants that reproduce by feeding on other animals.
The species they keep finding and bringing to the queen were all imperfect until they found out about humans, and some posses a special power called nen.
That us to say muruem is the king of the chimera ants. He tore his mothers womb open to come out. This outrageous king was born with enough power to conquer the earth and every thing in it. He fought against the strongest human and won after removing his one hand and leg.
