In the recent boruto manga, we've seen Naruto's new transformation, the bayron mode.
Today I'm going to be explaining the baryon mode.
According to the manga the baryon mode is likened to nuclear fusion. This is brought by the fusion of kuruma's chakra and Naruto's, this fusion require Naruto's chakra as a base.
The new baryon mode greatly increases the speed and strength of Naruto to the extent that he began to beat the pull out of ishiki, but great powers comes at a cost. It decreases Naruto's life. That means that after Naruto uses this mode he is guaranteed to die.
As kuruma explained; the baryon mode reduces the life span of ishiki each time he takes a hit from naruto but at the same time also reduces Naruto's life span. It was a gamble due to the fact that ishiki body could not handle the energy he carries and he needed to find a new host.
