If you think the limits to the powers in anime are just punches, kicks and energy blast, you are greatly mistaken. After having a little scuffle with someone who claims that the limits to the powers in anime isn’t above the scale of 100,000. The scaling of anime characters, can be pretty complicated, so I’ll be writing only on planetary characters and above. The characters mentioned will be from a single anime; therefore, this list will contain one character from an anime, don’t expect to see every single dragon ball characters. This list will not be based on assumption and will only contain characters of near or absolute supremacy and omnipotence.
9. AINZ OOAL GOWN
This is a popular Iseki anime character, from the anime, ‘OVERLORD’. Known as the supreme one, strongest magic caster, dark hero, sorcerer king, and king of darkness. Some of us might think that Ainz isn’t all that powerful, but I’m looking at this based on the world that he is in. Ainz has the power to wipe out all of humanity, after all he did sacrifice more than 500,000 people to summon his baby goats. In the world he is in, he is a supreme being, and has effortlessly beaten even a level 100 character in the world. Ainz possess various abilities that can definitely prove his supremacy, they are; ability damage, acid immunity, arcane vision, black halo, ability to create undead ranging from high tier to low tier capacity, dark soul, dark wisdom, despair Aura, Electric immunity, high tier magic immunity, high tier physical immunity, ice immunity, touch of undead, negative protection, slashing damage resistance, undead blessing, unholy protection, and these are just the little ones. He also has the likelihood to be merciless or even heartless, giving him the will to pass judgement to those that angers him. His title as supreme being is not a joke.
8. SAIKI KUSUO
Saiki is from the anime ‘the disastrous life of Saiki k’ and it is not really the kind of anime you’d expect to see on this list. Just a boy born with extreme psychic powers and just want to live an average life even if it means bending reality to do so. Saiki’s powers are even better than our no.10, his powers includes; apport- ability to pull and object from somewhere and have it appear to you, astral projection, possession, bilocation, clairvoyance, cytokinesis, curse, electrification, flight, hydro kinesis, hypnosis, invisibility, mediumship- ability to see and communicate with spirits, memory alteration, mind control, genetic manipulation, petrification, precognition, time travel, shapeshift, x-ray, psychic hold, telekinesis, full force- increase power with every attack, assist, psycho bit, psychometry, restoration, size argumentation, super strength, telepathy which includes angel whisper, brain lullaby, bug news, foreboding, forced telepathy, telepathic broadcast and so on. He is almost limitlessly powerful, he even madecoffee bitter for anyone drinking it gracefully. His power can range from changing/bending
reality to the ability to tie a knot with his tongue. Some people are just incomprehensible.
7. SAITAMA
There’s no doubt that saitama will be on this list. He is a character from the anime series ‘one
punch man’. According to the ‘ONE PUNCH MAN FANDOM’ Saitama’s only power is that his
body is greatly exceeds human limits, be it jumps, head-butts, kicks and most especially
punches. His strength is so great that is exceeds supernatural beings. Humans are believed to
be the among the weakest in the multi-verse and Boros came to destroy these very humans.
Boros has been known as destroyer of worlds, so, it is evident that he has been searching the
multi-verse for a challenge while simultaneously destroying worlds but when he faced saitama
he was destroyed despite having limitless regeneration. Saitama abilities include; unparalleled
strength, enhanced leap, unparalleled speed/reflexes, after image creation, invulnerability,
temperature resistance and so on. Saitama fought against a four dimensional being with ability
to bend space and time and won. There is no known limit to the physical prowess of saitama.
6. KRONUS
Kronus is a character from the anime ‘saint seiya’. I haven’t seen this anime yet, so I did a little
digging up and I found out just how powerful this character is. Kronus is a deity that serves as
the god of time and ruler of all titans. He is a skilled warrior and an 8 th and 9th sense user, he
has super strength, speed, durability, agility, endurance, telepathy, telekinesis, atom
manipulation, can counter/nullify any attack/technique after seeing it once, energy blasts, force
fields, dimensional travel, true flight, soul manipulation, elemental manipulation, time
manipulation, astral projection, reality warping, regeneration, immortality and the likes.
5. ANTI-SPIRAL
Anyone who has watched the anime series ‘Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan’ will be familiar with
this character. Despite the fact that this is a mecha anime series it surprised me with the
introduction of beings stronger than the multiverse. The anti-spirals are species of humans or
humanoid beings that realized the danger that the spirals possess, therefore they ceased their
own evolution by purging themselves of their spiral powers, trapping them as a suspended
collective consciousness with a goal of purging the multi-verse of all spiral beings. The anti-
spirals are known to be omnipresent, omniscient, and nigh omnipotent.
4. KAMI TENCHI
Kami Tenchi is the god of all things of the anime series ‘Tenchi Muyo’. Tenchi misaki is the incarnation of god, which is why he can create light hawk’s wings by his own power. His abilities include; reality warping, light manipulation, true flight, portal creation, time travel, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, true abstraction, weakness-non. Kami Tenchi is a transcendent entity that is as incomprehensible and boundless as the choushin, as they are beyond the understanding of ordinary beings.
3. YUKITERU
Yukiteru is the main character from the anime ‘mirrai nikki’. Of all the characters this guy is somehow the most pathetic and lacks every trace of badass. He was originally a contestant in a survival game held by the god of time. They were to play a game using their diaries that could predict the future, these diaries could predict the future in various ways. Despite being the weakest amongst the lot, he had likely the best diary, a diary that could predict the future of everything that happens around him. Well…he won the game after some death situation and became the new god. Originally he plans on ending the game peacefully without killing anyone but that changed when his mother killed his father who is later killed by the 11 th diary user, he then aims to become god and bring them back to life. His abilities include; limitless foresight, superhuman physical characteristics, true flight, time-space manipulation, acausality and causality manipulation, immortality, reality warping, energy attacks and any abilities that comes with being god.
2. TRUTH
Truth is a character from the popular anime series 'full metal alchemist'. He Is known as god, the world, all, one, truth. Shown his immense omni potence. Truth, despite the fact that he appeared few times in the series it's enough to see his omnipotence. But unfortunately he isn't that grounded in the storyline. Truth is the punisher of the unjust and his goal is to uphold the law of equivalent exchange, just as he exchanged the soul of Alphonse for the right hand of Eric, he took his right hand because Alphonse is believed to be Eric's right hand man, therefore the law of equivalent exchange is upholded. He also gives divine punishment to offenders. He possesses all divine powers.
1. ZENO
Zeno is the god of gods in the dragon ball universe. His power is limitlessly immense. During the tournament arc he displayed just how powerful he is by conducting a tournament in which eleven universe have to fight for the safety of their universe. He not only destroyed the fighters of 10 universe but also destroyed every trace of existence of 10 universe along with its god of destruction. Zeno is the omni-king the god of am the multiverse, he cannot be killed neither does he need to fight. He does thing for his amusement. He has absolute control over reality, according to the high priest, zeno has already known what trunks would wish for, if it were not so, he would destroy all the universe and re-create it in his liking.
